CTO & Chief Architect
Alan L Ambron is the CTO, chief architect, and principal engineer of Armatec Global leading all aspects of technology, engineering, and innovation driving business value through strategic technology initiatives.
Alan brings nearly 30 years of hands-on technology experience to this role building large-scale complex enterprise platforms and systems in the professional services, healthcare, education, and defense industries.
He began his career as a software engineer, and later director of technology scaling engineering teams for a national CPG retail brand, with $30 million annual revenue in the first few years of operations.
He was the chief architect and principal software engineer of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ (AICPA) Peer Review system accessed by 400K+ enterprise users in over 100 countries exceeding ROI expectations.
He was lead engineer and former director of security architecture of a machine learning platform for a Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA)-backed cybersecurity start-up borne out of the Columbia University Computer Science Department’s Intrusion Detection Lab collaborating with AT&T, Mandiant (NASDAQ: MNDT, now Google Cloud-Mandiant Threat Intelligence), and West Point Military Academy.
A proponent of highly scalable, high-performing systems for cost efficiency that drive business value, he is a multi-cloud (MS Azure, AWS, IBM, and Google Cloud Platform) multilingual hands-on engineer with expertise in cloud-native enterprise platforms architecture, infrastructure, and design.
A New York native and resident of Sydney, he also serves as a technology advisor at Crosslake Technologies. At Crosslake, he assesses and evaluates technology systems and platforms for investment activities, including private equity and mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
